About Rock Materials
We brought our years of on-site experience to flat roof distribution.
Rock Materials was created by people who understand flat roofs from the real world of roofing projects.
We started as a roofing company, working on live projects where the consequences of poor coordination, weak supplier involvement and unsupported installation were obvious. Too often, we saw manufacturers and suppliers provide the product, then leave subcontractors, main contractors, architects and clients to deal with the risk.
When issues appeared at handover, the project team was left trying to resolve problems that should have been prevented much earlier.
It’s not right that a lack of manufacturer support should cost everyone else.
A roof is one of the most important parts of any building. Flat roofs present increased risk because the water run off is slow.
That creates risk.
If the system is not properly specified, if the installer is not properly trained, if details are not coordinated, or if the supplier is not involved early enough, the whole project can suffer.
We believe that is not good enough.

Rock Materials exists to bring the product, the technical support and the installation process closer together.
As a supplier of Renolit roofing membranes, we support subcontractors, main contractors, architects and specifiers with the information, training, monitoring and documentation needed to reduce flat roof risk.
Our role is to help make the roof package easier to specify, easier to install and easier to hand over with confidence.
